Computer Talk

Computer games have certainly influenced the vocabulary of the youth.

When my four year old Gabi wants me or his mommy to stop talking --- especially when we are admonishing him for a naughty deed -- he holds up his hand and says "Pause first, Papa, pause."

When he is too tired or just plain lazy to pack away his toys, his favorite excuse is "Wait, Papa, I'm still loading."

And last night when he was about to sleep, he snuggled close to me and whispered "Game over, Papa. I will shut down."
